Happy Mother’s Day!! For all of you mothers, I hope you are having a very special day.
My mani today is the last polish I grabbed from the China Glaze Summer Neons Collection, Hang-Ten Toes. The polish is described as a “bubblegum neon with iridescent purple shimmer”. The following pictures were taken outdoors, with no flash, in the 30 seconds that there was actually sun in between all the clouds yesterday. As you can see, the clouds started creeping in as I took the pictures.
In real life, you really don’t see a purple shimmer all that much, and to be honest, it is more of a light purple or lilac, if anything. You can see the shimmer in pictures, but it is a shame that you need a macro setting to see how pretty the polish really is.
This polish is pretty, and like it siblings in the Summer Neons Collection it has a lit from within quality. This polish was much easier to apply than Orange You Hot?, but unfortunately, it started to chip in less than 12 hours. I will say, I did a lot of dishes, and washed my hair a few hours after applying this polish, but even then, I really thought I would hold up for at least 24 hours.
Regardless, this polish is a beautiful Barbie pink, and it will look amazing in the summer.
