Today, my routine has been completely disrupted. Some background information for you: I used to have a 1 hour commute to work as I made my way from the suburbs into the financial core. About a year ago, I managed to get a new role in my company that reduced my daily commute to 10 minutes each way! Totally amazing.

Well, every once in a while, I still need to make a trek downtown; and today was one of those days. By the time I got home last night I was exhausted, so I turned to a polish that I knew would get the job done as quickly as possible.

I bought Revlon Stormy the last time I had to go downtown for work. That day the mani I had attempted turned out to be an EPIC fail, as every nail got ruined as I rushed to get ready. I resolved to buy a quick dry polish and fix my nails quickly at lunch time. As I strolled through Rexall, I knew I would grab a Revlon Top Speed polish. The price was right, and I have a couple other colours (like Royal) that are gorgeous, and quick drying. My eye immediately went to Stormy. I love grey putty like colours.

So last night, I quickly slapped on two coats, and a quick coat of Seche Vite, and I am really happy with the results. The following photos were both taken indoors with no flash.

Revlon Top Speed polishes are great. I really like the colour of this polish, and it applies very easily. Pretty much all of the Revlon Top Speed polishes I own were bought under the same circumstances. I would be at work, look at my nails, and realize they were unpolished or suffered some sort of mani catastrophe, so I would go out and buy a new nail polish to fix it at lunch time in the washroom!

If you are looking for polishes to quickly apply, perhaps as an in between “proper” manis, check out Revlon Top Speed, specifically Stormy.
