As you may or may not know, I love all things Disney. Disney World, Disney Princesses, and of course, Mickey and Minnie Mouse. (Could you not tell?) So obviously, when OPI came out with the Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection I knew I would be buying SOMETHING from it. Unfortunately, the collection was only 4 colours large, and most were pinks and reds (which just don’t call out to me much). I did end up picking up the one colour from the collection that was “different”. A glitter based in sheer polish with heart-shaped glitter throughout. It sounds very pretty, and in all honesty it is, but I did have some issues with this polish. I’ll get into those once I show you some pics.

I have two main issues with this polish. Firstly, it is VERY sheer. The photos above are 3 (pretty thick) coats, and there is still blatant VNL. The glitter base has a very pretty shimmer to is, which can camouflage the VNL from a distance, but up close, it is very noticeable.
My other issue is how difficult it is to apply the hearts. As you can see above I only have one heart per nail, and let me tell you, it was a challenge just to do that! Perhaps if I shook the bottle more to disperse more of the hearts the application would have been easier, but that is just my hypothesis.
Regardless, this polish is very pretty, and I think it would look lovely layered over a white or very pale pink.
